Mayor Jerramiah T. Healy, The Municipal Council and the Department of Health and Human Services Division of Cultural Affairs PRESENT The Egyptian Festival as part of the Tapestry of Nations
The day-long festival will feature traditional Egyptian music and dance, such as the “horse dance,” and children’s entertainment. Posters, drawings, and photographs depicting ancient and modern Egypt will be exhibited courtesy of the Tourist Department of the Egyptian Consulate. Festival-goers can satisfy their appetites with shish kebobs, falafels, and other traditional ethnic fare.
